This cozy little building with artistic exterior touches is home to several well-maintained vacation rental units. A paved lot provides parking right out front. Your unit opens onto a covered porch spanning the entire length of the building with benches for admiring the impressive mountain view.
Your studio is a welcoming, cozy space where care has been taken to create a contemporary yet rustic “mountain cabin” feel. A queen size bed with a weathered barn-wood headboard will comfortably accommodate two. A closet provides storage for clothing and other gear.
Unwind from the day’s adventures in front of the wall-mounted TV, on either the two-seater leather sofa or in bed. If you feel like eating in, you’ll find a convenient kitchenette with a granite countertop, sink, microwave and coffee maker, plus a compact refrigerator and cabinets for storage.
If you’re visiting us in the summer months, you’ll appreciate the ceiling fan and wall-mounted air conditioner, creating a cooling retreat.
A classic bathroom includes a shower and a sink vanity with cabinetry below.

Guest Access:
We will send you detailed instructions no less than 48 hours prior to your arrival after you complete our verification portal. You will have privacy and access to the entire house using your special code given upon booking. Front door has a digital smart lock.
The Neighborhood:
This charming rental is located in the National Historic District of Old Colorado City, a desirable neighborhood on the west side of Colorado Springs.
Established in 1859, the area is characterized by quaint older homes on shady, tree-lined streets, plus a hip and happenin’ commercial district offering award-winning dining and art galleries, over 100 boutiques and one-of-a-kind-shops, festivals and special events.
Downtown Colorado Springs is a 7-minute drive, offering similar diversions, including restaurants and coffee shops, wine bars, breweries, theaters and more.
A 3-minute drive will take you to Manitou Springs, a charming, walkable small town with an artsy vibe.
Your studio’s location is superb, placing you within easy reach of everything you’ll want to see and do in the region, such as visiting the popular Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center, where awe-inspiring rock formations tower overhead at 300 feet – just a 2-minute drive! The Garden of the Gods allows dogs on-leash, and also provides a wide-open off-leash area.
Here to hike? You’ll appreciate the proximity to Red Rock Canyon Open Space (2 minutes), Bear Creek Regional Park East (6 minutes), Cheyenne Cañon Park
(13 minutes), and Pike’s Peak -- also known as “America’s Mountain” -- reaching over 14,000 feet into the clouds (15 minutes).
You’ll find that The Rockies offer endless opportunities for outdoor adventures, including rafting, ziplining, biking, hunting, fishing, skiing, snowshoeing and much more.
Getting Around:
We recommend that you have a car or use Uber or Lyft when traveling in the Pikes Peak Region. We're happy to provide bus schedules and maps too if you'd like to use public transportation.
Other Things to Note:
- There is a shared Laundry Room & Office Space at the East end of the building. Access Code for the Lock box: 0166 ***Please return the key to the Lockbox after you open the door***
-Please make sure all dogs are leashed and please pick up after them.
-Please do not leave pets unattended inside the unit.
-The bathroom lights above the sink are not able to be turned off. The door blocks most of the light so you may close it to have a darker environment when sleeping. Sorry about any inconvenience!
-The bathroom only offers the shower. The bathtub convertor is disabled.
-We do not have onsite maintenance or cleaning unlike hotels but all requests will be taken care of ASAP.
-This is shared with a multi unit property with other vacation rentals and small businesses.
-Parking is limited to one spot per unit. There is limited overflow parking in the back so we don't recommend more than 2 vehicles per unit.
-There is a Mini Split unit controlled by remote to adjust the thermostat or level of heating and air inside the unit. Our evenings are generally cool in the summer time, simply opening the windows will provide natural coolness.
-Please review the sleeping arrangements prior to booking.
-Please keep all trash secure in the bins. Do not leave any trash out overnight for your safety and the surrounding active wildlife in the city's area.
-The TV's offer streaming services only for guest's to use their subscriptions. Just don't forget to log out!
🐶Dog Policy:
-This house is dog friendly, Please be respectful of those who will stay after you by cleaning up all pet waste and disposing of it in the large trash bins. Thank you in advance!
* Dogs are welcome for an additional fee ($75 per dog). 3 dogs max. All dogs must be approved before check-in. No other animals are permitted unless they are Certified service animals. There are no charges for service animals.
Locations of all Security Cameras:
1. Ring Doorbell Cameras on the corner of the building facing all the front doors.
2. Ring Doorbell Camera on the back corner of the property facing the walk way.
It is on and operating.
This video footage is not shared and is recorded for liability reasons in the cases of a break-in, death, injury and in no way infringes upon the guests’ expectations of privacy in these public areas of the property. Any attempt at disabling or obscuring the cameras is prohibited
Last, it’s your vacation, so you probably don’t want a lot of RULES. So think of these more as our strong requests:
- NO SMOKING inside. This includes Colorado’s newest cash crop.
- We provide fresh sheets, towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and essentials like shampoo, soap, toilet paper etc.
- Quiet Hours begin at 10:00pm per city ordinance. Please be courteous of the neighbors during your stay.
- We cannot guarantee an early check-in, as we need time to make sure this property is perfect for you before your stay! Please check with us on the day of your arrival to see if the property will be ready early.
Non-Refundable Damage Deposit Waiver:
- Instead of charging a security deposit, Hoste charges a non-refundable $19 damage waiver fee that covers up to $2,500 for damage to real or personal property of the vacation rental property as a result of your acts or omissions. Please see house rules or the rental property agreement when you book for more information about how the damage waiver works. Because the damage waver fee is Non-Refundable; If a Guest changes properties for any reason they may be charged a new damage waver fee for the new property at the discretion of the property Manager.
Please be advised that we ask all guests to complete our secure, online guest verification portal after your reservation is created. Similar to hotels requiring photo ID upon check-in, we ask that guests provide a copy of their Government Issued ID, matching selfie and credit card to verify identity. This is used to prevent fraudulent reservations, identity verification and for the safety of all guests and homes. We take data security very seriously. All information entered into this form is encrypted and transmitted securely over SSL.
