2024 upgrades include voice-controlled deck lighting, a new platform bed and television in the master bedroom, a new washer-dryer, replaced lighting throughout the first floor including a new chandelier for improved lighting in the great room, rebuilt stairs and walkway, a new outdoor patio and fire-pit, and new sheets and towels throughout the house.
The main floor of the house consists of the kitchen, full bathroom off the kitchen, dining table and breakfast nook with seating for up to 15, living room, and master suite - a king bedroom with private full bathroom. Upstairs you will find another two queen bedrooms, another full bath, and a desk with large monitor for anyone needing a workspace.
The basement bedroom is the perfect set-up for kids to have their own retreat. With two bunk beds and two trundle beds, a 55" wall-mounted Fire TV, and a private half-bath, they'll never want to leave. The laundry room is off the basement bedroom and can serve as another bedroom in a pinch if you bring an air mattress. Throughout the house, you'll find toys, books, games, and even video games to entertain people of all ages. Closets are stocked with baby-specific items, including gates, a pack'n'play, high chair, bouncy chair, bubble machines, laser tag, and stomp rockets (while not baby specific, still fun!).
Peaceful View is less than 5 minutes from Timberline Mountain and 15 minutes from Canaan Valley. If cross-country skiing is your thing, Whitegrass Resort is also 15 minutes away. Skiers, hikers, mountain bikers, and kayakers will love the convenient location and the gorgeous view from the front deck. Inside and outside, this is a wonderful place to enjoy nature. After a busy day, you can study the night sky from the outside hot tub or share a game of cards (or any number of others!) with family and friends.
