Travel Purpose: business

Positive: We were here for our daughter’s wedding at Signatures. This house was grand and very conveniently located to everything we needed. The decor was different, but interesting. Early American History. Lots of paintings, relics and antique furniture. Our grandkids had a great time exploring the house. Lots of room and game room was great. Kitchen well stocked. Master Suite is spacious and surrounding. Plenty of towels and toiletries. The view of the golf course is absolutely gorgeous. Porches were comfortable and enjoyed sipping coffee while watching the sun rise. The surrounding community was a huge plus for us. We rented a golf cart and had a blast exploring Bayside. It’s a huge resort.

Negative: Carpets were very stained in several areas. which made the house appear dirty and I believe it caused me to be more critical of general cleanliness and condition. Game Room very musty smelling - spent some time cleaning bar area and sprayed the whole thing down with Lysol. That helped. Rack was missing for pool table. Guys were disappointed they couldn’t play. A few lights were out in house - not a big deal. Outside tables were filthy. Spent some time cleaning and rearranging furniture on porches to make more inviting. Outside furniture could use some attention - stained cushions, missing pieces. Had to clean out the utensil drawer in kitchen - flatware was all sticky and everything just thrown together. Threw it all in dishwasher and rearranged the drawers to make some sense. Obvious that this is just a rental property, as personal touch was missing.

Summary: Overall, everyone loved the house and location. It is well worn, but a cool house to stay in.
