The Chalet on Walnut is an A-frame home located on a quiet street about two miles northwest of Lake Pagosa, in beautiful Pagosa Springs, Colorado. This spacious home comes with an open family room and updated kitchen with custom cabinets and granite countertops - perfect for vacation getaways. The family room has a large HDTV with streaming service, and a DVD player, with WiFi throughout. The primary suite includes a king bed with HDTV, a queen bed in the upstairs bedroom, and two twin beds in the loft area. The Chalet on Walnut is surrounded by several acres of Green Belt and is approximately 1,800 square feet. All the Southern San Juan Mountain amenities are easily accessible, including the Wolf Creek Ski Area, the San Juan National Forest, great trout fishing, hunting, mountain biking, and scenic hiking. Gate 5 to the National Forest trailhead is less than half a mile away and accesses the Martinez Canyon area that connects with the Turkey Springs Trail System. We’re a short 10-minute drive to downtown Pagosa Springs shops and restaurants.
Passes to the rec center (offering a pool, a state-of-the-art gym, racquetball courts, and more) can be purchased for a nominal fee.

To access the rec center, guests must obtain a sponsorship letter from the local office and pay the rec center fee.
