When building our dream vacation home in 2016 we thought of us and what YOU would want in a home. A home that you’d want to keep coming back to to make family memories. And we gave it to you! You will love it as much as we do!
Oyster Cove boasts fresh modern decor with calming accents. We did all the decor and decorating ourselves so our family and yours could have more of that homey feel. Enjoy the professional surrounding landscape. When in bloom the hand picked shrubs and trees have aromas that you’ll want to smell all day!
Our home has 3 floors, the open concept kitchen/dining/living space on the main floor (2nd floor) there is plenty of room for gathering together. A super fun game room with dome hockey, a full size bar and mini fridge, gas fireplace and a large screen TV. Or take your pick of 5 decks or outdoor fire pit which all have high end seating to be comfortable. Or choose to have a drink and enjoy a board game or a book on our screened in porch. You might not want to leave this space!
The “main master” suite (3rd floor) should be on a magazine cover! TWO separate decks to watch the spectacular Michigan sunsets, or simply sunbathe and relax on a lounger and listen to the calming sounds of the Lake Michigan water.
The king size bed facing the beautiful lake is luxurious and will make you think about skipping the beach just to stay in bed! Designed to have some privacy but still in the same room is the bonus area with a family heirloom vanity and a glamorous day bed with pull out trundle. Spacious walk in closet. The en suite bathroom is a highlight. With the generous and roomy jetted tub and uniquely roomy tiled shower with glass doors.
The “main floor master” is perfect for the ones looking for more privacy. It has no deck access and has there own en suite full bathroom. This room has a calming affect. Take a break in this room for some piece and quiet.
The “boys”room features a one of kind hand built bunk beds. Any kid will want to sleep and hang out in here. Full bathroom attached.
The “girls” room is modern and dreamy. Has gorgeous views of the lake and amazing Michigan sunsets, with a sliding door to the attached private deck. Also has an attached full bathroom shower/tub combo.
The Midwest Riviera is calling, so why not answer?? The sunset coast has more to offer than just sunsets, come experience Pure Michigan during the best time of year...
Oyster Cove awaits your family and friends for a fun filled week or weekend at the Lake Michigan shoreline. A short walk from the property takes you to the Tram which will take you and your beach gear down to the private beach which was recently all re vamped. Feel like a movie star on the sand with no crowds.
Additional amenities include but are not all named, a large garage for storing beach gear, bikes, etc. during your stay. A super fun game room with dome hockey, a full size bar and mini fridge. Enjoy the gas fireplace and a large screen TV. Located on the walk out deck (middle floor/main floor) is a large gas grill with right off the kitchen access. The modern kitchen is fully stocked and includes a large island with seating, as well as a dining table that fits up to 8. The stainless steel appliances are all top of the line quality and easy to use. Includes a large gas range, full size fridge, microwave, and oven. As well as the smaller kitchen appliances toaster, coffee maker, etc are all also there for you to use.
Enjoy the small town of South Haven with its great shopping, dining, galleries, bakeries, salons and more. Also a short drive are wineries, farmers markets, u-pick farms, breweries, lots of awesome antiquing to check out while the other family members are golfing at Hawkshead! All just minutes in a car from our home.
