On the threshold of beautiful Lyford Cove, this cozy lakefront cottage is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and find peace and serenity in the heart of Maine. Spend your days out on the lake in the provided kayaks or paddleboard to experience the peace that comes from being on the water! Witness the spectacular morning view of the sun reflecting on the water while you sip your cup of coffee. Civilization isn't far, so drive into town to go antiquing, shopping, touring historic landmarks, discovering local eateries, and finding an array of family-friendly attractions. Spend your evenings at the firepit telling ghost stories and roasting s'mores while the stars come out to dot the sky.
Upon entry, you'll be met with a bright interior and lots of natural light throughout the space. Cozy up on the furniture in the living area to curl up with a good book or take in a movie on the large TV. Prepare grand meals and lake picnic snacks in the kitchen, equipped with all the cupboard room you'll ever need. The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious, with ample space for personal effects, perfect for getting a great night's rest from the day's activities. Kids will love bunking down and making memories in the bunk beds! Lie in the hammock and enjoy the sounds of nature as you allow your mind to reset in a state of peace and quiet.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.
Dock details: Guests may use the dock, which is approximately 80 feet long in five-foot-deep water. There are boat cleats on either side of the dock, but ropes and other equipment are not provided.
The dock is seasonal, goes in mid-June, and comes out mid-September.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
