Summary: We enjoyed our stay in Oxford very much. The hostess was available and helpful when we needed to contact her, and she even checked in with us to make sure we were having a good time. We had fun with the family games. The town is friendly and quiet. It took about 30 minutes or more to reach the Dells attractions or Baraboo and Devil’s Lake, but we didn’t mind the drive. The house is small, but our family of five fit comfortably. The bathroom is tiny, so not a lot of space to keep toiletries but Plenty of hooks for hanging towels. The house is clean, but we were aware of the dog smell in the living room. It wasn’t terrible but sometimes noticeable. Also, there is no air conditioning except for a window unit upstairs. That really helps at night, but the upstairs gets very warm on hot summer days. There are cooling units around the house that help some. Overall, we had a great time and really appreciate our hostess!
