Positive: We stayed in Chalet 86 with our extended family of 13 and had an amazing time. The chalet was spotless and fully stocked — bath towels and bedding provided, and the beds were genuinely comfortable. The indoor/outdoor seating area was lovely, and we spent every night around the firepit as a family (firewood is available at the on-site convenience store, which is also handy for snacks). The BBQ was clean with gas included; we brought our own can and never needed it. The hot tub was a highlight, though the water never got truly hot — it likely needed some maintenance. We did have a minor clog in a basement toilet (kids and too much toilet paper, most likely). We called maintenance and they arrived within a couple of hours — the issue was actually resolved while we were off at the central facilities. Speaking of which, the central facilities were fantastic. Both the indoor and outdoor pools were heated and very comfortable, and there's pickleball, table tennis, tennis, and volleyball. Fat tire bikes can be rented for a nominal fee. The chalet also included 1.5 hours of free boat use (two boats), and we brought our own kayaks as well. The lake itself is pristine, but — as other reviewers have noted — access is down a fairly steep slope with a set of stairs. It's not accessible for anyone with mobility issues, and carrying kayaks down and back up is a two-person job. Overall, an amazing experience. We'll definitely be back.
Negative: Hot tub was not hot enough. Need to make it easier to go access the lake. Perhaps a long winding path vs the short really steep slope they have right now.
Summary: Lovel, well-equipped chalet, fantastic on-site facilities, and pristine lake - we'll be back
