Summary: I want to start by saying the owner was great and very accommodating when we needed to adjust days prior to check-in. She was also very quick to respond when the code didn't work the door lock, but the space itself was not at all what we were expecting. This is not the whole house, but rather the lower level of a split level. We could hear every move and smell every meal of the group upstairs. The people upstairs were very nice and very respectful, but even just going about normal activities was loud. We could literally hear their normal conversations and I'm sure they could hear us. The "designated dog area" is made of chicken wire and not directly attached to the house so your dog could easily walk out to the street. There is also just a lot of junk everywhere, outside and inside. The back patio had an old treadmill off to the side, a pile of old cleaning supplies on top of a grill, and extra fences pieces leaning up against a post. When we walked into the converted garage/entryway/one of the bedrooms we had to move a huge Amazon box and a clothing rack out of the way to get inside. We got lucky that we were able to leave early and only stayed a couple days of our 3 week stay. We did get a very small refund, but that is really the only positive.
