The unique design of the Getaway Cabin allows you to open up the entire front wall to enjoy an indoor/outdoor living experience, perfect for eating, relaxing and reconnecting with your friends and family. You won't go with out comfort though, as the cabins are fully furnished with a TV as well as insulated and air conditioned/heated. There are 7 single, lockable full bathrooms with tiled showers on the grounds. Our getaway cabins are located only steps away from the spring fed Geronimo Creek where you can swim, fish, kayak paddleboard or just sit back and relax. Do you desire to get away from the stress and hurried pace of life in order to reconnect with yourself, loved one/s and nature? Our getaway Cabins were designed with exactly that in mind. Picture yourself waking up from a restful night sleep to a beautiful morning on your private deck sipping a cup of coffee as you enjoy the natural scenery of a babbling creek, sturdy pecan trees and song birds. Your only care or concern: Should you make it a fun filled day filled with water activities on the nearby creek or is this more of a hang out in the hammock with a good book kind of day…perhaps both are in order. Located only steps away, Geronimo Creek is a spring fed, 3 to 12 foot deep swimming and fishing oasis with free kayak and paddle-board use for guests as well as a super fun rope swing. Families and friends spend countless hours here swimming, kayaking, relaxing and having fun in and along the banks of the Geronimo Creek. At night, there are many fire pits located throughout the property where guests can hang out around the campfire under the stars roasting marshmallows and having fun. There are also many picnic tables, BBQ pits, hammocks and comfy furniture located throughout the property to make your stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. In addition, four single, lockable bathrooms are located close by with hot water and fully tiled showers for getaway cabin guests use. Geronimo Creek Retreat is great for small or large groups. The property also features a game room with couches, ping pong table, dart board and board games. Outside the game room is a large covered area for dining outside and our popular hot tub. The property is only 13 miles from all the exciting attractions of New Braunfels and Gruene including: Shlitterbahn Water Park, Gruene Dance Hall, Comal & Guadalupe River tubing and much more. Seguin is only minutes away and has everything you need: grocery stores, hospital, and a large variety of shopping stores. Seguin also has ZDT’s amusement park, Starke Park and the super popular Son’s Island where you can rent a lakeside cabana for the day. The town of Geronimo has great antique shopping and the San Marcos Tanger outlet malls are only a 15 minute drive away. San Antonio is an approximate 40 minute drive and Downtown Austin is only a quick 50 minutes driving down the new 85 MPH I-130.
