Summary: Because I traveled with my parakeet (caged the whole time), I was put in a ‘tired’ pet room on the first floor at the very end of the hall. For some reason the hallway was very cold and appeared to be unheated. The breakfast offered runny oatmeal, mushy potatoes, and frozen omelets that didn’t taste very good. Compared to another hotel (La Quinta) where I stayed and served real scrambled eggs, it was disappointing. That hotel was also less money. The hotel service clerk was helpful in setting up my WiFi, which i wasn’t able to do, but it took a very long time. I was tired from traveling all day, so this was very frustrating. I didn’t use the hot tub.
I just stayed last night at a Hampton Inn - St Robert Ft Leonard Wood in MO that was a completely different experience. It was a beautiful and well maintained hotel with a delicious breakfast. I chose higher end motels for this trip and was sorely disappointed in Litchfield. This is my second trip from TX. Last week with my car and bird, and this week with a uhaul. I usually don’t leave bad reviews, but Litchfield was especially disappointing.

Summary: Rooms are dated and shower was old looking. Hot tub and pool were out of service. There was no bacon or sausage to go with eggs for breakfast. Was told the gravy had sausage. Sad.
