Welcome to Cabin in the Sky! A ski-lodge inspired stay. This home is built to teleport you into your own personal world. A romantic, family friendly setting with warm lighting, hot tub, game room and plenty of beds! Nestled right into the Blue Ridge Mountains, minutes away from Bryce Resort and a short trip from Mount Jackson! Find complete peace at the top of our little mountain. Please note: this home is 3 stories, please message us if you have mobility issues.
Cabin in the Sky is just that; a hidden stay tucked in the mountain scape of the Blue Ridge. Private parking leads you straight to our front entrance, lit brightly by several automatic night lights. As you open the door with your personal code, you're placed in the middle of the 3-story Cabin. Ahead of you: an eat-in kitchen with coffee nook, a stocked kitchen, and full fridge/freezer. To your left: a full dining area, suited for 16; prefect for family-style dinner and games! Living room with 2 sleeping sofas and plenty of room for activities. To your right: coat hangers, the in-unit laundry and 1st floor restroom. *REMINDER* please remove all shoes at the door. In the basement: a boutique gaming and lounge area with day bar, full suite of arcade and tabletop games as-well as our bunkroom for up to 6 people. As you're lead upstairs you'll find our favorite spot: the loft! This is our area for some quiet; nestle into the sofa with a book or work on your computer while enjoying a wide open view of the range. The two upstairs bedrooms are perfect for parents with young children. Private bathroom, pack-and-play, and separate sleeping quarters can give you some space from the festivities!
If you happen to need or run out of *anything* during your stay, please do not hesitate to reach out -- we strive for your 5 star experience.
There are two ways you can navigate to our Cabin. We *STRONGLY* recommend routing through Mount Jackson as you exit I-81. If you follow your directions taking Orkney Grade, you'll be placed on a steep gravel road - this is unsuitable for most passenger vehicles. Once you've arrived to our lovely home, the last 4 digits of the guests phone number will provide you access during your stay. If you run into any issues, we have a spare key that you may access.
The cabin is exclusively yours while you stay with us, we are always accessible through the Airbnb app, but not in person.
Whether you're looking for an adventure filled escape or a peaceful retreat we have everything for a fulfilling trip no matter what time of year it is. Ski or snowboard the slopes, rip down the tubing hill, and warm up by the fire in the Copper Kettle. Aprés every weekend at Carter's Hütte in the base area! Regardless of which activity you choose the atmosphere at Bryce is top notch!
NO PARTIES OR EVENTS WHATSOEVER. We have a ring security camera on-site and are able to see if people outside your group comes to the house. This will result in an IMMEDIATE cancellation of your reservation with NO refund.
Please only flush toilet paper and NOTHING else. If the septic clogs during your stay, a fee will be assessed to have a plumber come and make repairs.

This is a NO shoes house. All shoes must be taken off at entry. There is a $10 fee per carpet/rug stain left in the home. Please understand this takes A LOT of extra time to clean.

NO Mailing Packages to the home.
NO PARTYING of any kind inside or on the property. Please respect the community. Noise level MUST BE MINIMAL after 10 PM to 7:00 am. There is a noise level county ordinance we do not want complaints! Violation of the noise/party rule will result in the police being called, termination of your reservation, and the security deposit being retained. We must respect the peace of the community! Thank you.
PENALTIES FOR THE FOLLOWING. Held against security deposit and claim will be filed with Airbnb.
**Stolen towels: $10 per towel, no matter the size.
** Smoking in the home: $150
**Late Checkout Past 10 am without our consent. $75
**Excessive Guests than reservation. $50 per guest.
**Excessive Cleaning if place is left filthy with trash everywhere. $350
