Nestled in an aspen grove and sitting slightly above Lake Purgatory it boasts a short walk to the private lake making it easy to go canoeing or paddle boarding. At the end of a short dirt road with one other cabin on the road, this home feels like a secluded paradise!
Winter months provide a backcountry sort of experience without having to go deep into the woods. While the cabin is just over a mile from HWY 550, during a snow storm guests will likely have to park approximately 50 yards from the cabin and walk, ski, or snowshoe in. Even though the road is maintained, the hill at the top of the driveway becomes unsurpassable in big snowstorms. This is exciting for the adventurers at heart!
