Its fall in the mountians, and one of our favorite times of year to be in Nelson County. Cool mountian air is perfect fir hiking and the keaves are already beginning to change. Nestled in the trees at Wintergreen, our cozy mountain home is the perfect base camp for all of your fall and winter activities in Nelson County - golf, winery tours, hiking, horse back riding and lots if relaxing outside by the gas firepit. Kicking back on the upper deck feels like you are in your own private treehouse. With an outdoor gas firepit it's a great spot to hang out with family and friends. ***Please note - although the house is perfect for families, with it being two levels, you may choose to bring a baby gate for safety. We have hosted multiple families with children, but be aware there are many steps. The upstairs patio has a latched gate, but it is not child proof! There is also a ladder in the living room that leads to a play nook for older children/teenagers, but is not safe for small toddlers/young children, It can be blocked or moved aside for safety.
Livin' on the edge is a well appointed three bedroom two level home with two living area's, and bunk beds located in a large living room/game room. The main living area is on the the second floor, which is an open floor plan with master bedroom, large open kitchen, dining room, and access to the upper level patio which runs along the entire front of the home. The second living area is on the first floor, and is used as a game room as well as sleeping area for extra guests and kids in the bunk beds. This floor hosts the other two private bedrooms, both with queen beds. One room is a second master, with a private entrance to the shared bathroom. There is also access to the downstairs deck.
