This Eastern Shore retreat is located just minutes from two of Talbot County's most charming towns; St. Michaels and Easton. Both villages offer boutique shopping, fine dining, ice cream parlors, and bike and kayak rentals. (There are 4 kayaks on the property for your complementary use, as well.) In addition to local art galleries and fine and casual dining, Easton offers live entertainment at the Avalon Theater, a movie theater, gourmet shops, and grocery stores. Excellent medical care, The Memorial Hospital at Easton, MD and Urgent Care offer peace of mind in the rare event you should need it.

With an open floor plan, the aesthetic is casual, calming, filled with light, and has a warm ambiance as soon as you enter the foyer. Flanked by a large dining room and living area, the center hall leads to a half bath, a large, well-equipped gourmet kitchen and a casual eating area with beautiful views of Maxmore Creek leading to the Tred Avon River. A sunporch with skylights and a large screened-in porch invite you to enjoy wildlife viewing on the river throughout the seasons. Conveniently, the porch is adjacent to the pool where you can keep an eye on the kids or socialize with friends or family. Pool basketball net, pool toys, corn hole and badminton, cards and board games are provided for family entertainment too.
Additionally, the gazebo on the lawn offers the perfect venue to relax or enjoy a crab feast; a favorite Eastern Shore tradition. If you'd rather catch the crabs yourself or fish off the dock, it's a great way to spend the day (and we provide the pot to steam them). A first floor king bedroom and en suite full bath are conveniently located near the kitchen and laundry area, but offer privacy from the rest of the house and a separate outdoor sitting area. Upstairs is a second king bedroom with a full, private en suite bath; a queen bedroom, and a shared full bath off the recreation area. A large recreation room with seating and a 60-inch screen TV provide an alternate entertainment area for the kids.
