This property, conveniently located off Interstate 20, is just 1 mile away from Uptown, the Convention Center, and Protective Life Stadium. Additionally, UAB and Samford University are less than 5 miles away. Our rental consists of two separate apartments, each featuring 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and the capacity to sleep 4 guests. Rest assured, we provide everything you need for a fantastic stay in vibrant Birmingham!
The Space:
Welcome to The Bricks, Apartment 1 & 2! Both units offer a similar layout for your convenience. Step inside to discover a welcoming living room with a dining nook. Adjacent to the living area, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen ready for your culinary adventures. Down the hallway, you'll find the bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom features a comfortable king-size bed and a large SmartTV for your entertainment. We provide linens and towels to ensure a hassle-free stay.
Please note that while we personally find our neighborhood great, we understand that it may not suit everyone's preferences. We kindly ask you not to book this house if you anticipate any discomfort regarding the neighborhood. If you do decide to cancel after arriving, our moderate cancellation policy will apply.

Guest Access:
The house has a digital keypad at the front door which will provide you access to the house. The code will be provided upon check-in. You will have full and private access to the home.
The Neighborhood:
We value transparency and want to address feedback we've received from some previous guests regarding our neighborhood. While we personally believe our neighborhood is great and have never encountered any security issues, we understand that each guest's experiences and preferences differ. Your comfort is our priority, and we want to ensure you feel at ease during your stay in our home.
If you have any concerns about the neighborhood, we are more than happy to have a conversation and provide more information to address your specific worries. We also offer a refund option if you decide to cancel within 24 hours of booking or prior to check-in (for bookings made less than 24 hours in advance). However, please note that refunds due to neighborhood concerns will not be issued if you arrive and then decide to cancel.

Getting Around:
Uber, Lyft, and other Taxi available, but driving is encouraged!
Other Things to Note:
If you notify us of your intent to cancel prior to the lapse of the free cancellation period, we will return 97% of your payment. The other 3% will already have been collected by the credit card processing company, and we have no way to return that portion of the payment.
We require a signed rental agreement and for guest to be 25 years of age to book.
We are a pet friendly home. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a $50 non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.
Interaction with Guests:
We like to give our guests maximum privacy, so we offer contact-free checkin via a digital door code. Just know that we are only a phone call away if ever the need arises during your stay!
