The space:
Our guest quarters are warm and inviting with high ceilings, Bay windows, a large built-in closet and hardwood floors. It is newly remodeled for modern comfort yet keeps its old-world charm. With a balcony, in-unit washer and dryer and a smart TV. It has everything you need to make your time away as comfortable as possible. This apartment is all to yourself with a full kitchen.

Guest access:
Our guests have full access to the bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, the open floor plan of the dining and living area, and the balcony.

Other things to note:
There is ample and non-hourly-restrictive street parking, except for street cleaning hours. There is no garage or parking on this gated property. We love to meet our guests upon arrival. Otherwise, self-check-in on a keypad.
Need early check in or late check out? Just ask. Guests can leave luggage in a large storage before check-in time or after checking out for later retrieval.
There are 32 steps up to the top-level apartment from the street.
For the sheets and towels, I use Tide detergent and Downy fabric softener. Please let me know if you are sensitive to that and I'll then use fragrance free laundry detergent for you.
You might detect a lingering smell caused by incense burning from an international guest who stay for over 2 weeks in July 2024. The smell settled and sometimes can smell like a cat pee. We tried everything we could to get rid of the smell except painting the whole place. Apologize in advance for the smell. We added no incense burning to the house rule. Lesson learned!

This Potrero Hill neighborhood is very hilly. But here is how one of our guests described the neighborhood: "My daughter and I absolutely loved this neighborhood- very easy freeway access, cute restaurants, and super easy parking which is rare in SF. All in all, a stress less stay in a quintessential SF neighborhood that has the best weather in the city with a host who obviously takes care and pride in this space."
