ABOUT BREAKWATER'S CRANBERRY COTTAGE
Cranberry Cottage (formerly Cottage A) is the largest cottage at Breakwater. It's a 1,334 square foot, three bedroom, two bathroom house and can sleep up to 10 people. It was completely renovated in the spring of 2023 and is bright and open. You can spread throughout this house with everyone you'd like to bring. There are sleeping spaces galore! There is a twin over full bunk room right as you enter the house, another bedroom with a queen and two twin beds tucked into the wall (very unique, you need to see it!), and then the last bedroom has a king sized bed with a private bath.
WHY THE NAME "CRANBERRY COTTAGE"?
Grayland has a rich cranberry growing heritage. Since its relatively modest start in the 1870s, it has grown in popularity worldwide. A large Finnish population farmed the area in the early part of the 20th century and now most of the farmers are members of the Ocean Spray cooperative.

Walk down to the beach or enjoy everything Grayland has to offer. You can go clamming during the right season and prepare them right in the Breakwater complex. You can spend the entire day relaxing at the house in peace and quiet, or down on the beach listening to the waves crash. However you want to spend your time here, you will love it!
This cottage has the largest kitchen in the Breakwater complex. Brand new with new applicances, it has all the ease of cooking at home and is stocked with pots, pans, utensils and dinnerware.
In addition to the living and dining room, there is an upstairs family room that is light and bright! This is the only cottage with two separate living spaces.
This cottage shares a wall with the resort's laundry. Housekeepers work during the daytime hours only when most guests are enjoying the area.
These units are dog friendly, so feel free to bring Fido down to the coast with you! No more than two dogs, please, with our typical per dog, per night fee. We even supply blankets for Fido. We are dog lovers, too.

This intimate resort has been here for years, the well-kept secret of a select few guests who valued the peaceful, quiet environment and the nostalgic décor.
With nine crafty condos and five homey cottages, you and your family and friends can create the perfect getaway for yourselves. Need a place where you can host a good-sized group? Talk to us. Each cottage or condo can accommodate 2 to 6 people and, if an event space is needed, the Grayland Community Hall is less than a half mile from the property.
Each cottage or condo includes a kitchenette with fridge, microwave, coffee maker, dishes and utensils, and most with a stove and toaster, so it's easy to whip up breakfast for the group.
Beds are just right for diving into after a long day at the beach, enjoying a whale watching tour or exploring the shops and restaurants in nearby Westport.
Breakwater is a self-check in property. No manager is onsite, but staff are available by phone for service.
ABOUT GRAYLAND & WESTPORT
Try to not tire yourself out at the resort too much, as the towns of Grayland and Westport have much to offer as well! There are many museums to visit (including the International Mermaid Museum), see how cranberries are grown, or walk through Westport and stop into the little shops for gifts or ice cream. If you'd rather hit the open water, join a whale watching tour or charter a fishing boat to test your luck and spin your tales!
MANAGED: This well managed property needs good behavior and adherence to instructions, rules, terms, conditions, and may require online registration and electronic signature before final booking, or you may cancel before proceeding at that time. Phones open 7am to 9pm everyday. For security, there may be outwardly facing security cameras, capable of constant recording but may not be activated depending on security company. To allow enough time for full cleaning, check-In time is 5pm and Check-Out is 11am.
