Welcome to your luxurious four bedroom beachfront house directly on the beautiful Chesapeake Bay! This spacious and modern property sleeps ten guests comfortably, making it perfect for large families or groups of friends. Private beach access, 2 full kitchens, paddle boards, and outdoor shower with bay view are just a few of the amenities in this custom designed beach house.
The Space:
Walking into the lighthouse is like entering your own private oasis for the week. On the 1st floor, you will find the spacious great room fit out with dining tables, full kitchen a comfortable living area, all with a bay view out the sliding glass doors. Comfortable sofa seating with 65” TV and high top tables accommodate everyone. Washroom and full kitchen have beautiful quartz counters and high end finishes. Ping pong table is located next to a wifi sound system as well as a Remote control center for each of the 5 ceiling fans. It's perfect for family gatherings.
Step outside onto the private beach front deck and relax on the swings, or play a game of shuffleboard on the game patio. This space is created to suit every vacation need, from the bay view bar to the outdoor grill.
After a day of sun and sand, refresh in the private outdoor shower with nearby half bath.
The 2nd floor is enough to be a home all on its own. Past one of many cozy reading areas, you’ll find a table and seating for 14 with a walkout balcony. A peninsula separates seating from the Chef’s kitchen, which you’ll find stocked with coffee, sugar, dry creamer, basic spices, oils, and pasta.
Surrounding the kitchen are the Laundry room, 4 bedrooms, and a full bath with jetted tub. Luxury linens for all bedding and towels were sampled and critiqued for luxury comfort. Full terry cloth bathrobes are available for your use in the Bay View King Bedroom. Basic amenities provided (shampoo, conditioner, body wash). Bathroom shelving space provided.
The principal bedroom with king bed has a walkout to the 2nd story ocean view deck with hammock. Two adjacent rooms have king beds as well. The 4th bedroom has two double bunk beds, each with a full on top and a queen on the bottom.
The 3rd floor landing is the perfect nook for quiet reading or a work space.
The 4th floor eagle’s nest is a cozy air conditioned vista. Open the windows for fresh ocean breeze as you stare at the waves from the comfort of the couch or stargaze from the 360º balcony.
Extra tables are available for small gatherings - pre-approval required for any events or guests beyond those in the original reservation. Pets (up to 2) ok with pre approval.
Please note that the second bathroom consists of an outdoor shower with bay views and an inside half bath.
Guest Access:
Guests will be provided with a code to access the property via the front and side doors.
The Neighborhood:
The Lighthouse is located directly on the beach in the heart of Ocean View. Ocean View Golf course, Harris Teeter grocery store, public beaches, and children’s parks are less than a mile away. We have many recommendations for local breweries, coffee houses, water sports, wellness appointments, and activities for you as well. When you book your trip, we will send you a list of discounts we’ve negotiated for your convenience. If any appeal to you while you plan your vacation, we’ll be happy to have made a connection.
Getting Around:
Guests are given 15 parking spots in the driveway.
No street parking is available. Host is not responsible for issues associated with street parking.
Other Things to Note:
A $50 fee is charged to all guests to pay for damage insurance in lieu of an expensive security deposit.
House rules:
• Absolutely no smoking in the house. Guests will be fined if smoking policy is violated.
• No parties or events (gatherings over max occupancy will be shut down immediately unless previously approved by host)
• Check-in is anytime after 4PM
• Glitter of any kind is not allowed in the unit. Any sign of glitter throughout the unit will result in an immediate $100 cleaning remediation fee.
