Breathtaking views!!!! This spacious New England style home sits on 240’ of Eastern Bay waterfront including private beach access. The location is ideal; approximately 5 acres of land nestled in the quiet town of Lamoine. The home is flanked by a state park to the west, and Lamoine Beach a short walk away. You will be approximately ½ hour from the entrance to Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island (also home to the charming harbor villages of Southwest Harbor, Northeast Harbor and the better known Bar Harbor), 15 minutes from the town of Ellsworth and approximately 45 minutes from Schoodic Peninsula.
Watch harbor porpoise and seals frolic in the water and share their amazing view of the mountains of Acadia National park in the background. Get up early with your coffee and witness the lobster boats pull in their traps. This is Maine shoreline vacationing at its best.
The first floor consists of a formal living room, formal dining room, fully equipped kitchen, open informal living and eating area as well as a laundry room/coffee bar area. The informal living area boasts an open plan great room with a wall of glass doors maximizing the views and a built in bar with beverage refrigerator. There are two primary suites on the first floor; both enjoy magnificent water views. The larger primary (Bedroom #1) has a king size bed, sitting area, connecting patio/deck, en suite bathroom with double sinks and a separate tub and shower. The smaller primary (Bedroom #2) has a king size bed, connecting bathroom with single sink and tub/shower combination. Head up the front or back stairs to find yet another great room for family gatherings and enjoying the view. This room is the perfect space for playing board games in one area, and socializing or watching TV in another. There are 3 additional bedrooms on this floor. Bedroom #3 has a direct ocean front view with a queen bed. Bedroom #4 has an ocean view out of the side window and has a double bed. Bedroom #5 is very spacious and has two twin beds. The upstairs bathroom has double sinks, and a separate toilet, shower/tub combination.
The kitchen is outfitted with 4 burner electric range, microwave, 2 ovens, refrigerator/freezer (additional beverage refrigerator in bar area and additional full refrigerator in the garage), dishwasher (a supply of dishwashing liquid, hand soap and dishwasher detergent), disposal, slow cooker, beaters, baking/cooking tools and pots and pans, cutlery and matching dishes/glassware for 20 people, cloth napkins and kitchen linens. There are spices in the cabinets.
Laundry room/breakfast area is outfitted with full size washer and dryer (and a supply of laundry pods), clothing steamer, fire extinguisher, coffee maker and Nespresso (including pods, coffee and filters), toaster and toaster oven.
Bathrooms are outfitted with supplies of hand soap/shampoo/conditioner/body wash and make up removers, unlimited towels and toilet paper.
Home has an expansive yard and private beach access via stairs, a large side deck with outdoor patio, patio furniture and shade sail covering, a charcoal grill/smoker and a fire pit and hammock
