Our large home is nestled right between St. Joe, South Haven and Lake Michigan and near everything Southwest Michigan has to offer. Located on a large forested lot on a stream, you'll see beavers hard at work while spotting eagles, owls, deer and colorful birds. Enjoy wine tastings at local wineries or brew hop through some of the countries best breweries. At night enjoy the large fire pit under the star filled sky. Adults and children alike will find something they love about our home.

We wont be available in person, however, in case of emergencies we are available.

You will need a car in this area. There is a large driveway that easily fits multiple cars.
We are on a quiet dark wooded lot. We do have exterior lights however, please note this is quiet secluded location.

Welcome to our home fondly known as “Lake Forest Retreat” We hope you make wonderful memories here. Please find our house rules that have been put in place for your safety as well as others. We truly appreciate your cooperation!
Please note that adhering to these rules is a requirement of the terms and conditions of our rental agreement.
We reserve the right to evict any guests or visitors who refuse to follow these house rules. The violation of house rules may result in deductions from the security deposit or other penalties.
Smoking of any kind is NOT allowed anywhere on the premises. Please do not smoke indoors or outdoors. There will be an air cleaning fee of $500 plus $500 additional fee for extra in home cleaning.
Check-in/Checkout
Check in is at 11am
Check out is at 3pm
A $150 late check out fee will be charged for late check-out without prior authorization
Check-in
You will receive a code specific to your booking. Your code will be valid on your check-in date at 3pm. The code will deactivate at 11am on your check-out date.
Your code will be sent to you via the AirBnb messenger App prior to check-in.
Check-Out
Your key code will expire promptly at 11am on Check-out day. This gives us a chance to properly clean and disinfect before any new guests arrive.
Parties are STRICTLY PROHIBITED
No Large Gatherings OR Parties are allowed at any time.

Please use the driveway which holds up to 4 cars.
Please refrain from parking on the grass.
Visitors and Noise
No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
The Maximum property capacity is 16 people, this includes children. Please do no go over this number. It helps keep everyone safe. Up to 12 Adults and up to 16 with children.
Please be considerate of our neighbors. Quiet hours are between 10pm and 7am.
No fireworks are allowed on property, this is a citywide ordinance that will result in fines.
Child Safety
Our home is suitable for children. However, please keep in mind we do have multiple sets of stairs. There is a safety gate for upstairs.
Parents must not leave children unsupervised and are fully responsible for their safety at all times.

Please report any damages, breakages, or malfunctioning equipment immediately so that we can repair or replace them.

Please Load and turn on the dishwasher before checkout
Please place garbage and recycling the correct bins outside. Garbage collection is Tuesday mornings. If you are in residence on Monday evening, there will be someone to take the garbage to the street. Please do not be alarmed.
