This gorgeous 4,000-square-foot home - which was extensively updated in 2017 - leaves little to be desired. It features hardwood floors in the main living spaces, towering floor-to-ceiling windows in the great room capturing the surrounding scenery, a spacious dining area, and a showroom kitchen with new stainless appliances and granite countertops. Upstairs, natural light and spectacular views infiltrate the beautifully updated master bedroom and bathroom. Downstairs, there is a separate living space with one bedroom and one bathroom with its own separate entrance that provides an added level of privacy, making this home perfect for multiple families or groups of friends. The home’s other highlights include a great outdoor space with a wraparound deck, a large front porch, a hot tub, and an outdoor fire pit. There is also a 2-car garage available for guest use. This home is pet-friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs; the pet fee is $40/day (with a $250 maximum per stay). There is a $300 penalty for not reporting that you are bringing a pet.
Property note: As part of the authentic mountain experience, please be aware that wildlife is abundant in the area. It's not uncommon to spot local critters such as mice. We take all necessary precautions to keep the cabin clean, but the natural surroundings may bring these small visitors closer than you're used to in an urban setting.
Please note, the fireplace is not operational.
Attention winter guests: You will need a 4-wheel drive car. The remoteness of this house can create hazardous driving conditions. The roads are plowed, but it is not an instant process. Same with the long driveway for the house. We have contracted to have it cleared after every storm (4 inches or more), but it takes time for them to get it done (up to 24 hours). Please be prepared.
