Located in the Sky Valley Community this modern style cabin is only a few minutes from the many attractions here at DCL while still remotely set in a wooded area, providing exactly what you need for a quiet and calming getaway. Wake up rejuvenated after resting among the foliage in this stylish, cozy cabin, and embrace the calming ambience of the warm wood walls paired with sleek, modern decor. Start the day off with a fresh cup of coffee on the wrap around deck while breathing in the fresh mountain air or bring along your furry friend and take a brisk walk around the quaint community. No matter the season there is plenty to do! In the Winter months pack your snow gear and head to the slopes for a full day of skiing and snowboarding; or grab your sleds and take the kids sledding around the neighborhood. On very cold days, don’t forget to check out the Deep Creek Fun Zone where you can spend the day playing arcade games or laser tag! In the Summer months rent a boat and go sailing across the lake, then dock the boat along one of the many different restaurants located on Route 219. Go out and explore the different hiking trails in the nearby State Parks or make a reservation to spend the day horseback riding through the mountains. ACCESS DETAILS:
Lake access is located along Piney Point Dr. While this home does not come with dock access, dock slips are available to rent on a first come first serve basis through the Sky Valley Community Association for an additional fee of $25/day. Please note that this association only rents slips to those who privately own their boats. Rental boats are not allowed. Please note that docks are only guaranteed from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
