The condo is close to parks, the lake, historic museums, creeks, trails & w/in a 50 min drive of 9 world-class Colorado ski resorts, with Loveland Ski Area being only 10 minutes away. Other recreational activities include fishing, hiking, mountain biking, white-water rafting, riding the Georgetown Loop Railroad, and exploring the Guanella Pass Scenic and Historic Byway. It is perfect for couples, business travelers, & families. This condo is centrally located between Denver and the heart of the Colorado Rockies. It features two bedrooms, a sleeper sofa in the cozy living room, & one bath. Once in Georgetown, you will literally be just steps from fly fishing on the Clear Creek and Georgetown Lake, minutes from skiing at Loveland Ski Area, and hiking and biking right out the front door. The cozy wood fireplace sets the stage for chilly Rocky Mountain nights after a long day of skiing. Parking is a cinch with on-site parking for up to 2 vehicles. The kitchen is ready for your home-cooked meals or cocktail hour & hors do euvres. The views are wonderful, and you ll love being so close to restaurants, museums, and shopping. Shops and restaurants are a short walk away or drive (less than-a-mile ) to the downtown historic district. Hiking and mt. biking trails are plentiful & the Georgetown Lake and Clear Creek are just steps out the condo front door. There are a number of museums and historical sites we recommend you don't miss while visiting such as the Hamill House, Alpine Hose, and Hotel de Paris museums. Be sure to stop into the Visitor Center for maps, trail & weather information, and cultural opportunities in town.

We are just 13 short miles from Loveland Ski Area, within an hour's drive of 8 other world-class ski resorts including Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge & Keystone, and are basecamp to the Guanella Pass Scenic Byway. Hiking and biking trails abound during the warmer months and bike and ski rentals are available right in town, in Dumont to the east, or Loveland Ski area to the west. The Georgetown Lake is great fun for fishing (or ice fishing), canoeing, or strolling. Visiting in spring? We are a National Historic Landmark District with a ton of history to share with you! Check out one of Georgetown's four museums or catch a class or concert at the Heritage Center in our beautifully restored 1874 school house. There are plenty of wonderful shops and restaurants here in Georgetown to check out as well... or take a scenic ride on our famous narrow-gauge steam train at the Georgetown Railroad Loop Railroad.
