The four-level structure features broad, sweeping windows opening outward and a wraparound deck boasting unobstructed 360-degree views from a vast stretch of the Pacific Ocean to the mountains beyond.
Discover the tower's industrial past as you ascend the interior filled with authentic artifacts and information about its history. Families with children will enjoy the added challenge of finding the 12 hidden figures of the home's mascot, Walter Towers, placed throughout each floor. Historical tours can be scheduled upon request for those interested in learning more about the tower's origins.
The immaculate main floor features a stylish, updated design and some of the best views in Southern California. Take in sweeping ocean views from the private balcony, or kick back in the living area while streaming your favorite shows and movies on the smart TV. The renovated kitchen features all the appointments for modern home cooking needs, with throwback industrial decor incorporating vintage components, including original wood paneling. For an interesting slice of local lore, be sure to peruse the items in the 'Hippolyte Bouchard' room, offering a true-to-life interpretation of the life and pursuits of the area's most famous pirate.
The uppermost floor comes fully furnished for group gatherings with 360-degree vistas showcasing the mountains, city, and coastline. A complete bar and array of plush seating set the stage for happy hour hosting, while four smart TVs are perfect for game day viewing. The flooring has been intentionally laid out in alignment with true north-to-south direction. The breakaway, four-piece ottoman reveals a full compass rose in the floor to help orientate yourself with your current direction. Labeled plaques denote visible landmarks from each of the windows.
A ground-floor bedroom features a hideaway nook converted from the water tower's original pump house and furnished as an additional sleeping option for younger guests.
