During Oyster Festival, The Urban Oyster is the perfect central home in the middle of everything. It is right on the parade route. You can watch from the front porch, the balcony or pull up some chairs into the huge driveway for a large group.
During the Oyster festival everything is just steps away. Vendor tents, children’s rides, beer garden, wine tasting, oyster tents, food vendors and live music just to name a few.
It’s the perfect way to enjoy the festival and still have a home base to zip back and forth to.
Our house is just a few steps away (literally) from Urbanna's best restaurants and shops, a short walk to the Rappahannock River.
The Urban Oyster is large enough for the whole family or a group of friends to relax comfortably together but still have their own space and some alone time to read a book.
The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you’ll need to prepare all of your favorite meals.
If you need to stock up on some of your favorite snacks, there is an IGA within walking distance and also a larger Food Lion just a short drive away.
Want to spend a day off just hanging at the house? We’ve got you covered. Enjoy the enormous second floor entertainment room with double French doors to the balcony overlooking the brick paver driveway. Watch your favorite movie on the large 75” flatscreen. Have a family game night and chose from a selection of board games and puzzles or play some cards. Maybe even whip up your favorite cocktail and kick some butt at a game of ping pong.
The Urban Oyster sits in almost 3/4 of an acre. A firepit night is the perfect way to end the day. Roast some s'mores under the stars.
