Bunkhouse overlooks the Medunkeunk Stream, which next to the Main house. This is essentially a Bed and Bathroom style Bunkhouse. There is NO STOCKED KITCHEN, (no utensils, dishes, etc.) We have a screened in outdoor kitchen with a grill and picnic table available for your cooking needs. Trailer 5 miles to direct access to ATV trails, (free trail maps available). Roast S'mores at the outdoor fire pit down by the stream(seasonal) to enjoy the peaceful evenings. Private road for long walks. There are chickens fenced in on the property (No Roosters) and adding Rabbits this year 2023.
Your just 10 mins from the town of Lincoln, ME which offers supply stores. shops, and restaurants. 1.5 hours to Baxter State Park's South Entrance. 2 hours to Acadia National Park.

The local ecosystem fosters a healthy population of mosquitos, black flies, hornets, peepers etc. Bug spray may be essential for an enjoyable stay. You may encounter animals like the Red Squirrel, Turkeys, Raccoons, rabbits, fox, deer, fisher, beaver, otter and yes Moose. We, please ask that you (DO NOT FEED THE ANIMALS) or try to pet them, keep your distance at all times and take good pictures.
