Welcome to Portland! This sunny, converted Victorian condo is ideal for a comfortable long-term stay, combining historic charm with modern conveniences. Set up by frequent travelers who understand what makes a place livable long-term, the condo is fully furnished and thoughtfully equipped so you can settle in and get on with daily life. The kitchen is a true, full kitchen with all essential cookware and tools, dishwasher, plus a well-appointed coffee, espresso, smoothie, and tea setup for everyday use. Heating and cooling are handled by both classic radiator heat and a heat pump/mini split, keeping the space comfortable through cold Maine winters and warm summer days. We also have a Peloton, 5-50lb adjustable dumbbells, resistance bands, and a yoga setup since we know it can be hard to maintain fitness on the road.
You will be set up well for remote work, with dedicated workspace for one or two people (depending on desk preference) and fast, reliable Fidium fiber internet. The unit is quiet and not street-facing. We have some higher-tech touches like keyless entry (+ keys if you prefer) as well as a Simplisafe monitoring system (if you wish to use it). All utilities are included (heat, hot water, air conditioning, and internet). If you are here in the winter, residents are responsible for snow removal (we have a snowplow/shovels etc and all the neighbors pitch in).
