This gem is one of the original homes of historic Jonestown with all the modern amenities you could ask for – even a hot tub!
Start your day with breakfast overlooking the lake from one of our two spacious front porches. From there you can walk down to Jones Brothers park for a sunshine-filled day by the lake, lounging and playing on the large grassy lawn. We have everything you need:
-Eight Chairs
-Plenty of beach towels
-Two kayaks
-Life jackets in kid and adult sizes
-YETI cooler
-Cornhole and badminton sets
-Football, basketball and soccer balls
-A portable wagon to transport chairs, cooler etc. down to the lake
-Tennis courts, a jungle gym and basketball hoops down at the park
BE CAREFUL walking up the steps to the house or down the steps to the lake. The steps are old and at times stones can be loose.
If you care to boat or jet ski there are public docks on the water directly next to the house. There are several companies on Lake Travis that rent ski boats, pontoon boats, party barges, jet skis etc. if you’re interested in exploring the lake. Water levels fluctuate over the course of the year. If you want to know water levels just ask! The Jones Brother’s Park has a large playscape, baseball diamond, basketball courts, covered picnic areas, and lots of lakeshore and places to play.

In the living area we have a spacious living room with a big screen 60 inch TV to enjoy a movie, Netflix or a sporting event with the whole family or group. We also have plenty of board games and puzzles to enjoy.
We also have a large wood-burning fireplace that makes the house even cozier during the winter!
We have three bedrooms. The master features a king bed and a spacious walk in closet. Our second bedroom has a queen bed. Our third bedroom has a full bed with a twin sized bunk on top, making it flexible for children or more adults.
We have two bathrooms – one upstairs with a shower and a bathroom downstairs with a vintage clawfoot bathtub – perfect for drawing a bubble bath and reading a book after spending a day on the lake. There is also a showerhead above the clawfoot bathtub.
Our house is 30 minutes from downtown Austin and 45 minutes from the airport, making it a perfect getaway for South by Southwest, Austin City Limits Music Festival, or UT football weekends.
There are some dining options close by including Rounders Pizza within walking distance and Quetzal Mexican Restaurant a 5 minute drive away. Around a 15 minute drive away you can find an HEB grocery store, a Super Target, and a Costco, as well as a huge variety of dining options, including the famous Lucy’s Fried Chicken.
We are committed to our guests having an amazing lake trip. In the event you need our support, or have questions about the property, we’re happy to assist over to phone. In the event of an emergency we are able to come to the house as we live within driving distance.
In light of recent global health issues we have doubled down on cleaning anything you will touch - light switches, remotes, etc.
Rules worth noting:
-No bachelor/ bachelorette parties, wild parties or large/ loud events. Our property is suited for friend and family-oriented vacations and reunions.
-Only the number of guests on the reservation are allowed on the property unless an arrangement with the owners has been approved.
-The house has a septic system and it is vitally important that nothing but toilet paper goes down the toilet. Trash cans are provided in all the bathrooms for feminine hygiene products, tissues, paper towels, or any other trash.
-Parents/guardians must watch and be responsible for children at all times.
-Please be respectful of our neighbors and comply with the city noise ordinance after 10:00.
-No parking on the grass or on the street. Please only park in the driveway or in the car port behind the property.
-A parking map and additional guidelines will be provided prior to your visit.
